All of that is hard to do when you’re part of the CCM industry. I’m going secular into the alt-pop and post-punk genres, with inspiration from BoyWithUke (Chandol), Billie Eilish . And I’m still Christian, but not my music. (It will have a Christian influence to it tho, like Bodie) I want to be able to vent my feelings without restrictions. The deepest song I’ve written was “What Will I Do” and even that felt restrained. That is part of the reason why I’m changing my artistic name to my second last name and my grandfather’s first name “Enyioma”. If it is translated from Igbo (my native 👅) to English it means “good friend” or “God friend”. I changed it because the name I was using was kind of holding me back to my Lo-fi acoustic guitar music which kind of doesn’t sound great to me. My new name is to show new chapters of my career, new polish, etc. NAME CHANGE IN 5 WEEKS.
